Atlético Goianiense Edges Amazonas in Thrilling Manaus Match
Manaus, Amazonas – Atlético Goianiense secured a 2-1 victory over Amazonas in a fiercely contested match at Estádio Municipal Carlos Zamith. The game, part of the fifth round of the 2025 Brazilian Serie B, was a tense affair with a total of 42 fouls committed between the two teams.
Atlético Goianiense took the lead just before halftime through a goal from Marcelinho, assisted by Robert Conceicao (45′). Amazonas, however, managed to equalize from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute, courtesy of Luan Silva.
