Qingdao Jonoon and Meizhou Kejia battled to a 1-1 draw in a thrilling match at the Qingdao Youth Football Stadium in Qingdao on April 27th, 2025, as part of the 9th round of the 2025 Chinese Super League. The game, officiated by Yinhao Shen, saw both teams fight hard for the win.
Meizhou Kejia took the lead in the 12th minute with a goal from J. Ngom Mbekeli, assisted by Rodrigo Henrique. However, Qingdao Jonoon equalized from the penalty spot in the 81st minute, thanks to a goal from Wellington Silva.
The match was characterized by a flurry of yellow cards. Meizhou Kejia received four yellow cards (Ngom Mbekeli, Jocic, and two more for Wei Zhiwei and Guo Quanbo), while Qingdao Jonoon received two (Jia Feifan and Saric and another one for Song Long).
