Barcelona Beats Real Madrid in Thrilling Copa del Rey Final
Sevilla witnessed a breathtaking Copa del Rey final last night, filled with excitement and tension. Barcelona emerged victorious, defeating Real Madrid 4-3 in extra time. Pedri, assisted by Yamal, opened the scoring in the 28th minute. Mbappe equalized for Real Madrid in the 70th minute, and Tchouameni put the Whites ahead in the 77th, assisted by Güler. Torres, again assisted by Yamal, leveled for Barcelona in the 84th minute. In extra time, Koundé scored the winning goal for Barcelona in the 116th minute.
The match was characterized by its intensity, with numerous yellow cards for both teams: four for Barcelona (Martin, De Jong, Lopez and Raphinha) and five for Real Madrid (Ancelotti, Tchouameni, Modric, Bellingham and Rudiger). Rudiger received a red card at the end of extra time. Barcelona dominated possession (59%) and had more shots (22) than Real Madrid (15), although both teams had a significant number of shots on target.
