GIL Vicente snatches last-minute victory over Farense
GIL Vicente secured a 1-0 win against Farense at the Estádio Cidade de Barcelos in a tightly contested Primeira Liga match. M. A. Bamba’s 90th-minute goal proved to be the difference in a game where GIL Vicente held a slight possession advantage (54% to 46%). Despite GIL Vicente’s greater number of shots (14 to 8, with 3 on target compared to Farense’s 2), the match remained a close affair until Bamba’s late strike. The game saw a total of three yellow cards; two for Farense (Neto in the 14th minute and Ze Carlos in the 81st minute) and one for GIL Vicente (J. Mutombo in the 90th minute).
