Reading Edges Past Bristol Rovers in Tight Encounter at Memorial Stadium
Bristol, Gloucestershire – Reading secured a victory over Bristol Rovers in a closely fought match at the Memorial Stadium this Friday. The game, part of League One’s matchday 45, ended with a 2-0 scoreline in favor of the visiting team.
Despite slightly less possession (55% for Reading compared to 45% for Bristol Rovers), Reading proved more clinical in attack. The goals came in the second half. First, L. Wing broke the deadlock in the 67th minute, assisted by C. Savage. Then, in added time, C. Campbell sealed the win with a goal in the 90th minute.
