Novorizontino defeats Athletico Paranaense in thrilling encounter
Novo Horizonte, São Paulo – Novorizontino defeated Athletico Paranaense 2-1 in a thrilling match at Estádio Dr. Jorge Ismael de Biasi, corresponding to the fifth round of the 2025 Brazilian Serie B. The match, refereed by Denis da Silva Ribeiro Serafim, was filled with excitement until the final whistle.
Pablo Dyego was the star of the match for Novorizontino, scoring two goals (in the 11th and 73rd minutes), demonstrating great effectiveness in front of the opponent’s goal. Athletico Paranaense, despite having more possession (57%), managed to score a goal through Renan Peixoto in the 64th minute.
