In a thrilling match played at Gamla Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg, Gais defeated IF Brommapojkarna 2-1 in the fifth round of the 2025 Allsvenskan. The match, refereed by Erik Mattsson, was characterized by Gais’ greater ball possession (59%), although IF Brommapojkarna created more clear-cut chances, with 7 shots on target compared to Gais’ 2.
