Al Akhdoud defeated Al Kholood 1-0 in a match played at the Ar-Rass Stadium in Ar Rass, Saudi Arabia, corresponding to round 29 of the 2024 Pro League. The match, refereed by Ovidiu Hategan from Romania, was characterized by an intense game with numerous fouls. Al Akhdoud, despite having less possession (46%), showed greater effectiveness in attack, with 14 shots (5 on target) compared to Al Kholood’s 7 (3 on target). The only goal of the game came in the 67th minute thanks to G. Saviour, assisted by Pato. Both teams received several yellow cards: Al Kholood one and Al Akhdoud two, plus a couple more in the dying moments. Despite Al Kholood’s territorial dominance (54% possession), Al Akhdoud secured the victory thanks to their greater offensive effectiveness.
