Málaga Stages Comeback Win Against Fighting Eibar at Ipurúa
Málaga secured a vital 2-3 victory at the Estadio Municipal de Ipurúa against a tenacious Eibar side. The match, part of the Segunda División’s 36th round, was characterized by its intensity and numerous yellow cards. Eibar took the lead in the 45th minute through a Bautista goal, assisted by Pereira. However, Málaga responded strongly in the second half with goals from Murillo (60′) and Rodríguez (71′), the latter assisted by Cordero. A Monte own goal in the 72nd minute sealed a 2-3 victory for Málaga, despite Eibar enjoying more possession (51%) and more shots on target (5).
