Cuniburo defeated Técnico Universitario 3-1 in a thrilling match played at the Estadio Bellavista de Ambato, as part of the ninth round of the 2025 Liga Pro. The game, played on April 20th at 6:00 PM, was officiated by Oswaldo Contreras.
Técnico Universitario took the lead in the 30th minute with a goal from S. González, assisted by J. Ordóñez. However, Cuniburo turned the game around before halftime, with goals from K. Ushina (42′) assisted by D. Luna, and R. Monti (45′) assisted by K. Ushina. R. Monti sealed the victory for Cuniburo with his second goal in the 49th minute, assisted by L. Gómez.
