Vitesse Dominates Roda JC with a 3-0 Victory at GelreDome
Vitesse Arnhem secured a commanding 3-0 win over Roda JC in a Eerste Divisie matchday 35 clash at the GelreDome in Arnhem, Netherlands on Friday, April 19th, 2025. Referee R. Dieperink officiated the game.
Vitesse controlled possession (55%) and outshot Roda significantly, registering 11 shots on target compared to Roda’s 5. I. Yegoian starred with a brace (30th and 51st minutes), both assisted by L. Postma. E. Cornelisse added a third goal in the 77th minute, also assisted by Postma.
Despite the scoreline, Roda JC showed some fight but ultimately couldn’t overcome Vitesse’s strong defense. Roda committed more fouls (14 to Vitesse’s 10). Both teams received a yellow card each; A. Zarrouk for Vitesse and T. Baeten and an unnamed player for Roda.
