Shanghai Shenhua defeated Wuhan Three Towns with a convincing 2-0 victory at the Shanghai Stadium. The match, part of the 2025 Chinese Super League round 8, was played on April 19th in Shanghai and officiated by Niu Minghui. Shanghai Shenhua controlled possession (55%) and created more scoring chances (14 shots, 5 on target). Goals came early, with J. Teixeira opening the scoring in the 21st minute, and Andre Luis extending the lead in the 49th minute. Teixeira received a yellow card in the 32nd minute. Despite Wuhan Three Towns’ efforts, their two shots on target weren’t enough to breach the opposing defense. Two goals were disallowed for offside for Wuhan Three Towns (minute 66 and 88). Wuhan Three Towns received a yellow card in stoppage time.
