Club Guaraní defeated Nacional Potosí in a vibrant match played at the Estadio Defensores del Chaco in Asunción. The Paraguayan team dominated possession (52%) and scored two goals in the first half, the first at 11 minutes thanks to F. Fernández, assisted by W. Mendieta, and the second at 45 minutes by J. Patino Martínez, again with an assist from Mendieta. Nacional Potosí, despite making multiple changes, failed to significantly threaten the opposing goal, ending the match with a defeat. Although both teams had 12 shots, Club Guaraní’s effectiveness was superior, with 5 shots on target compared to 2 for their opponent. Nacional Potosí accumulated 4 yellow cards, while Club Guaraní only received one. The match was officiated by Fernando Andre Vejar Diaz from Chile.
