Al Shabab Cruises to Victory Over Al Kholood in Riyadh
Al Shabab secured a convincing 2-0 win against Al Kholood at the Al-Shabab Club Stadium in Riyadh on April 10th, 2025. The match, part of the Saudi Pro League’s 27th round, saw Al Shabab dominate possession (57%), but both teams created numerous scoring opportunities. Cristian Guanca opened the scoring in the 12th minute, assisted by Mohammed Al Juwayr. Abdullah Hamdallah doubled the lead before halftime with a penalty. Al Kholood, despite registering 21 shots (6 on target), failed to find the back of the net. A yellow card to Fahad Al Shamrani for Al Kholood was a notable incident in a less intense second half. Despite Al Kholood’s superior corner count (9 to 5) and more fouls committed (10 to 3), Al Shabab’s clinical finishing secured the three points. A late yellow card to Robert Renan rounded off the game for a triumphant Al Shabab.
