Paris Saint-Germain Cruises to 5-2 Victory Over Dunkerque in Coupe de France Semi-final
Villeneuve d’Ascq, France – Paris Saint-Germain secured a convincing 5-2 win over Dunkerque in the Coupe de France semi-final at the Decathlon Arena – Stade Pierre-Mauroy. Referee Jérôme Brisard oversaw a match dominated by PSG’s possession (76% to 24%) and shots (30 to 11).
Dunkerque took an early lead with goals from Vincent Sasso (7′, assisted by Georgen) and Mohamed Al Saad (27′, assisted by Courtet). However, PSG responded before halftime with a goal from Ousmane Dembélé (45′, assisted by Hakimi).
The second half saw PSG take complete control. Marquinhos equalized (48′, assisted by Dembélé), Doué put PSG ahead (62′, assisted by Barcola), and Dembélé added a second (90′, assisted by Pacho). Despite a disallowed goal for offside by Vitinha, PSG comfortably advanced to the final.
