RWDM thrashes Seraing United in a dominant home performance
Brussels, March 28, 2025 – RWDM secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Seraing United at the Edmond Machtensstadion in Brussels, in a Challenger Pro League matchday 27 encounter. The home side dominated the game, showcasing their superiority in possession (68%) and shots on target (7-0).
Ilyes Ziani opened the scoring in the 15th minute, assisted by Antoine Maurer. Maurer himself doubled the lead before halftime (39th minute), with Patryk Parzyszek providing the assist. The final goal came in the 79th minute, courtesy of Marvin Biron, assisted by Mohamed El Arouch.
Seraing United, with only 32% possession and just 7 shots (none on target), struggled to create any real threat. Their frustration was evident in the two yellow cards received.
