Russia crushes Zambia in international friendly
Moscow, March 25, 2025.- Russia achieved a resounding 5-0 victory over Zambia in a friendly match played at the VTB Arena in Moscow. The game, part of the Friendlies 1 round of the 2025 season, was dominated by Russia.
M. Glushenkov was the star of the match, scoring a hat-trick (minutes 8, 54 and 58). I. Vakhania also contributed to the victory with a goal in the 44th minute, while A. Batrakov added another in the 73rd minute.
The statistics highlight Russia’s clear dominance: 55% possession, 20 shots (9 on target) compared to Zambia’s 3 (none on target). Russia also surpassed Zambia in corner kicks (3 to 2) and committed fewer fouls (10 to 5).
