PSV Eindhoven thrashes Waalwijk at the Mandemakers Stadion
PSV Eindhoven achieved a resounding 3-0 victory over RKC Waalwijk at the Mandemakers Stadion in Waalwijk on March 15th, 2025. The visitors dominated the match, controlling 63% of possession compared to Waalwijk’s 37% and significantly outshooting their opponents (7 shots on target to 2).
Ivan Perisic opened the scoring in the 4th minute, assisted by Luuk de Jong. The second goal arrived before halftime, in the 39th minute, courtesy of Noni Madueke, who was set up by Perisic. De Jong completed the victory in the 53rd minute with an assist from Joey Veerman.
Despite Waalwijk’s efforts, the PSV Eindhoven defense held firm. The home team received two yellow cards, one for Oskar Zawada in the 71st minute and another for Sjoerd van der Water in the 81st minute, while PSV Eindhoven remained unpunished. The final score accurately reflected the visitors’ dominance, securing a comfortable and decisive win.
