Lorient Crushes Bastia in Thrilling Ligue 2 Encounter
Lorient secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Bastia in an exciting match at the Stade du Moustoir in Lorient on March 15th, 2025. The game, part of the 27th round of Ligue 2, saw Lorient dominate possession (52%) and shots on target (6 to Bastia’s 3).
Avom opened the scoring in the 8th minute, assisted by Pagis. Kroupi doubled the lead just before halftime with a penalty in the 42nd minute. The second half continued in similar fashion, with Katseris adding a third in the 70th minute and Yongwa sealing the victory in the 88th minute, both goals assisted by Bamba. The match saw three yellow cards for Lorient and one for Bastia. Despite the defeat, Bastia displayed a respectable 48% possession.
