Mohammedan Sporting Edges Out Minerva Punjab in Thrilling Kolkata Clash
Kolkata, March 10, 2025 – Mohammedan Sporting Club secured a 3-2 victory over Minerva Punjab FC in a thrilling Indian Super League match at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan stadium in Kolkata. The game, part of the 2024 season’s round 26, was officiated by Senthil Nathan S from India and featured a back-and-forth battle.
Minerva Punjab took the early lead with a goal from E. Vidal in the 9th minute, assisted by A. Suljic. L. Majcen extended their advantage in the 53rd minute. However, Mohammedan fought back strongly, with M. Schmerbock scoring in the 58th minute and R. Hansda netting two goals in the 58th and 66th minutes to secure the win for Mohammedan. Franca and T.
