Manta FC falls to Delfín SC in a thrilling match at Estadio Jocay
Manta, Ecuador – In an exciting encounter corresponding to the third round of the 2025 Liga Pro regular season, Delfín SC defeated Manta FC 3-2 at Estadio Jocay. The match, played on March 4th in Manta, was marked by intensity and a high number of cards.
Manta started stronger, scoring two goals in the first half. D. Valencia opened the scoring in the 6th minute, and D. Cabezas extended the lead in the 33rd minute, assisted by C. Alemán. However, Delfín reacted before halftime with a goal from R. Phillips in the 45th minute, leaving the score 2-1 at the end of the first half.
