Slovan Liberec defeated Dukla Praha 1-2 in a thrilling match at Stadion u Nisy in Liberec. Despite having less possession (59% for Slovan Liberec and 41% for Dukla Praha), Slovan dominated in shots (12 to 7), although accuracy was lacking (only 2 on target). The opening goal came in the 30th minute thanks to D. Visinsky, assisted by A. Ghali, giving the home side the lead. However, M. Doda managed to equalize in the 58th minute, assisted by J. Reznicek. The match was marked by tension, reflected in the numerous yellow cards: four for Slovan Liberec (Kayondo, Letenay, Nyarko and Zyba) and three for Dukla Praha (Jorginho, Peterka and Svozil). Despite Dukla Praha’s pressure in the final minutes, Slovan Liberec held firm and secured the victory.
