Real Betis Women defeats Granada CF in a thrilling match
Seville, March 1st, 2025.- Real Betis Women defeated Granada CF 3-2 in a vibrant match played at the Ciudad Deportiva Luis de Sol. The match, corresponding to matchday 20 of the Primera División Femenina, was marked by intensity and a changing scoreboard.
Betis took the lead with a goal from M. Ruiz in the 16th minute, assisted by R. Marquez. However, Granada equalized before halftime with a penalty converted by P. Arana in the 37th minute. The second half was even more exciting. Requena put Granada ahead in the 72nd minute, assisted by A. Gomez. But Betis reacted with an own goal by C. Armengol in the 77th minute, and finally took the victory thanks to their initial lead.
The match was full of yellow cards: three for Betis (Jimenez, Ferez, Vizoso) and four for Granada (Alvarez, Requena, Leles and two at the end of the match). Granada dominated possession (57%) and committed more fouls (16 vs 10), while Betis had more shots on target (7 vs 3).
