Alverca thrashed Marítimo in a convincing match at the Complexo Desportivo FC Alverca. The home team dominated the encounter, scoring six goals against a Marítimo side that couldn’t find a way to counter the attacking onslaught. W. Eduardo opened the scoring in the 6th minute with a normal goal, assisted by Brenner, and extended the lead in the 20th minute with a penalty. Andrezinho added another goal in the 34th minute, assisted by David Bruno. In the second half, Brenner (52nd minute, assisted by M. Pires) and Alysson (60th minute) scored to seal a resounding victory. A goal disallowed for offside to D. Martins in the 26th minute did not tarnish Alverca’s brilliant performance.
