SCR Altach defeated FC BW Linz 3-2 in a thrilling match at the Hofmann Personal Stadion in Linz. The game, corresponding to round 18 of the Austrian Bundesliga, was marked by intensity and a high number of yellow cards. Altach dominated possession (54%) and created more scoring chances (9 shots, 3 on target). Dietz opened the scoring for Altach in the 50th minute, but Anderson equalized for BW Linz in the 59th. Estrada extended Altach’s lead in the 68th minute, and an own goal by Ronivaldo in the 72nd virtually sealed the victory. Despite a late goal by BW Linz, Altach secured all three points. The match also saw a total of eight yellow cards, five for BW Linz and three for Altach.
