Carrarese Thrashes Salernitana in Thrilling Carrara Match
Carrarese secured a convincing 3-2 victory over Salernitana in a thrilling match at the Stadio dei Marmi in Carrara, Italy. The game, part of the 26th round of the Serie B, took place on February 15th, 2025. Carrarese’s clinical finishing proved decisive against a Salernitana side that dominated possession.
Carrarese opened the scoring early with a goal from Simone Zanon in the 31st minute. Matteo Finotto added a second in the 41st minute, and Elia Zuelli sealed the deal in the 47th. Despite Salernitana holding 60% possession and attempting 16 shots (4 on target), Carrarese’s 14 shots (5 on target) proved more effective.
