Stal Mielec defeated Jagiellonia Bialystok 2-1 in a thrilling match played at the Stadion Stali Mielec in Mielec, Poland. The game, corresponding to matchday 20 of the 2024 Ekstraklasa season, was characterized by intensity and a balanced contest.
Jagiellonia opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a goal from A. Pululu. However, Stal Mielec responded strongly and equalized in the 22nd minute thanks to a goal by R. Dadok, assisted by I. Shkurin. Before the break, P. Wlazlo scored a penalty to give Stal Mielec the lead (29′).
Despite Jagiellonia’s attempts, who had more shots on target (3 to 2), Stal Mielec held on to the victory. Possession was divided, with 55% for the home team and 45% for Jagiellonia.
