Puskas Academy Edges Out Paks in Thrilling Felcsút Encounter
Felcsút, Hungary – Puskas Academy secured a 3-1 victory over Paks in a captivating match at the Puskás Akadémia Pancho Aréna on Saturday, December 14th, 2024. The game, part of the NB I’s 17th round, was characterized by tension and several yellow cards.
While Paks held slightly more possession (51%), Puskas Academy proved more clinical in front of goal. Z. Nagy opened the scoring for the home side with a penalty in the 60th minute. B. Toth equalized for Paks in the 67th minute, but the visitors’ joy was short-lived. Substitute J. Plsek scored in the 81st minute to put Puskas Academy back in front, and L. Colley added a late goal in the 88th minute to secure the 3-1 win. The match saw four yellow cards awarded to Puskas Academy and two to Paks.
