Slovan Bratislava Edges Out Dunajska Streda in Thrilling Match
Bratislava, December 14, 2024 – Slovan Bratislava secured a 2-1 victory over Dunajska Streda in a captivating match at Štadión Tehelné pole, marking the 18th round of the Slovak Super Liga. The game, officiated by Boris Marhefka, was a closely fought contest until the final stages.
Although Dunajska Streda registered more shots (17 to 13), Slovan Bratislava controlled possession (58%) and proved more clinical in front of goal. David Strelec put Slovan ahead in the 57th minute, assisted by Vladimir Weiss. M. Tuboly equalized for Dunajska Streda in the 66th minute, thanks to a pass from M. Brunetti. However, Giorgi Kashia secured the win for the home side with a goal in the 69th minute.
