Amazulu defeated Royal AM 2-1 in a thrilling match at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium in Durban. The game, part of the round 8 of the South African Premier Soccer League, was characterized by intensity and tension. Amazulu dominated possession (52%) and created more scoring chances (14 shots, 7 on target), translating this into two goals. Hlompho Ekstein opened the scoring in the 37th minute, assisted by R. Human, while Mxolisi Mbanjwa extended the lead in the 48th minute, with an assist from E. Ighodaro.
