Barcelona Women Rout Hammarby in Dominant Display
Barcelona Women secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Hammarby IF in their fifth UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage match, played at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm on December 12th, 2024. The Catalan side completely controlled the game, enjoying 81% possession.
The match was opened early with a goal by Fridolina Rolfö in the 7th minute. Before half-time, the Norwegian forward struck again in the 40th minute to make it 2-0. Aitana Bonmati sealed the victory with a goal in the 81st minute, resulting in a final score of 3-0. Patricia Guijarro received a yellow card in the 3rd minute.
