Fiorentina secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Sampdoria at the Stadio La Sciorba in Genoa, in a Serie A Women’s match corresponding to matchday 12. Despite Fiorentina dominating possession with 69%, Sampdoria took the early lead with a goal from Dellaperuta in the 28th minute. Fiorentina equalized in the 64th minute through Severini, and then took control in the second half with two further goals from Johannsdottir (84′) and Boquete (90′). Fiorentina’s win was built on superior attacking efficiency, with 17 shots (7 on target) compared to Sampdoria’s 11 (6 on target).
