Cruz Azul achieved a commanding 3-0 victory over Club Tijuana in the Liga MX Apertura 2024 quarter-finals. The match, played at the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes in D.F., saw Cruz Azul dominate possession (58%) and create numerous scoring opportunities. Iván Rivero opened the scoring in the 44th minute, followed by Giannis Giakoumakis’ goal in the 54th minute. Alejandro Sepúlveda sealed the win with a goal in the 74th minute.
