Bristol City Crushes Plymouth at Ashton Gate
Bristol City delivered a resounding 4-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol on November 30th, 2024, in a Championship match. The home side dominated possession (67%) and created numerous scoring opportunities, registering 25 shots, 12 of which were on target.
Sam Twine opened the scoring in the 57th minute, assisted by Andi Mehmeti. Mehmeti added two more goals in the 62nd and 70th minutes, the latter assisted by Nahki Wells. Armstrong sealed the victory with a goal in the 90th minute, assisted by Mark Bird.
Plymouth struggled to create chances, managing only 3 shots on target. The match was a physical encounter, with a total of 19 fouls and four yellow cards (one for Bristol City and three for Plymouth). Despite the one-sided scoreline, Plymouth showed determination until the final whistle.
