Sydney FC Rout Eastern Long Lions in AFC Cup Clash
Sydney FC convincingly defeated Eastern Long Lions 4-2 in a Group Stage AFC Cup match held at the Mong Kok Stadium in Hong Kong. Sydney dominated possession (79% to 21%) and outshot Eastern 9 to 2 (4 on target for Sydney, 1 for Eastern).
A. Ouahim opened the scoring for Sydney at the 5th minute, assisted by R. Grant. P. Klimala added another goal at the 17th minute. Ouahim scored his second goal in the 45th minute, assisted by Klimala. Eastern pulled one back at the 49th minute through N. Baffoe, assisted by J. Yu. Ouahim completed his hat-trick with a penalty at the 62nd minute. Eastern’s N. Baffoe missed a penalty in the 90th minute. Sydney’s superior performance secured a comfortable victory. The match saw two yellow cards for Sydney and three for Eastern.
