Barcelona Thrashes Stade Brestois in Dominant Display
Barcelona secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Stade Brestois in their UEFA Champions League Group Stage matchday five clash at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. The match, officiated by Irfan Peljto from Bosnia and Herzegovina, saw Barcelona dominate possession (76%) throughout.
Robert Lewandowski was the star of the show, scoring a brace. He converted a penalty in the 10th minute and added another in the 90th minute, assisted by Alejandro Balde. Dani Olmo also found the back of the net in the 66th minute, with an assist from Gavi. Stade Brestois offered little attacking threat, managing only two shots off target. Their frustration was evident in the four yellow cards they received.
