Wrexham Edges Out Lincoln in Tight Encounter at STōK Cae Ras
Wrecsam, Wales – Wrexham AFC secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Lincoln City in a keenly contested League One match on November 26th, 2024, at the STōK Cae Ras. Referee J. Miles oversaw the game in round 11 of the regular season. Despite having less possession (56% for Wrexham), the home side controlled significant periods of play. An own goal by T. Darikwa in the 67th minute, following a Wrexham attack, proved to be the decisive moment. Lincoln City, who had more shots (14 to 9), created several chances but lacked the clinical edge needed to break the deadlock. A yellow card to L. Brunt for Wrexham in the 11th minute was the only significant disciplinary incident. Despite their shot advantage, Lincoln were unable to capitalize on their opportunities. The win strengthens Wrexham’s position in the league.
