Pyramids FC Rout Sagrada Esperança in CAF Champions League Opener
Pyramids FC secured a dominant 5-1 victory over Sagrada Esperança in their opening CAF Champions League group stage match at the 30 June Air Defence Stadium in Cairo. The game, played on November 26th, 2024, showcased the Egyptian team’s superiority, controlling 64% of possession and creating numerous scoring opportunities.
I. Adel starred with a brace (17th and 74th minutes), while M. Hamdi and F. Mayele also found the back of the net for Pyramids FC. A. Atef added a late goal in the 89th minute. Sagrada Esperança managed a consolation goal in the 90th minute through Cachi.
