Tijuana Crushes Atlas in Thrilling Playoff Match
Club Tijuana dominated Atlas with a resounding 3-0 victory in a captivating match at the Estadio Caliente in Tijuana. The home side controlled 62% of possession throughout the game. Jhon Vásquez Zúñiga starred with a brace (5th and 21st minutes), and Kevin Castañeda added a late goal in the 85th minute. Despite Atlas’s efforts, their 11 shots (only one on target) proved no match for Tijuana’s strong defense. Tijuana registered 21 shots, 8 of which were on goal.
