Los Angeles FC fell to Seattle Sounders in a thrilling MLS Cup – Conference Semi-finals match played at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California on November 24th, 2024. The match, refereed by Guido Gonzales Jr, ended with a 2-1 score in favor of the Sounders.
The game was marked by intensity and a close contest. Although Los Angeles FC had more shots (24 to 13), Seattle Sounders slightly dominated possession (51% vs 49%). Hollingshead opened the scoring for Los Angeles FC in the 50th minute, but an own goal by Chanot in the 59th minute tied the match. The excitement continued until the end, with Morris securing the victory for Seattle Sounders in the 109th minute.
