Despite their superiority in possession and shots (21 to 9), Salzburg didn’t manage to translate their dominance into goals until the 62nd minute, when Mayer K. Yeo, assisted by A. Dedic, opened the scoring. An own goal by K. Konate in the 73rd minute extended Salzburg’s lead. However, LASK Linz pulled one back in the 88th minute with a goal from M. Entrup, assisted by M. Ljubicic, leaving the final score at 2-1. Salzburg received one yellow card, while LASK Linz received one.
