Sassuolo Crushes Salernitana with 4-0 Victory in Reggio Emilia
Sassuolo secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Salernitana at the MAPEI Stadium – Città del Tricolore in Reggio Emilia, Italy. The match, part of the Serie B 2024 Round 14, saw Sassuolo dominate possession (58%) and create numerous scoring opportunities (15 shots, 4 on target). Referee Valerio Crezzini oversaw the game.
Salernitana received two yellow cards, to Bronn and Tello, while Sassuolo remained disciplined with no cautions. Pierini opened the scoring for Sassuolo in the 64th minute, assisted by Berardi. Lauriente added a second goal in the 82nd minute, also assisted by Berardi. Late goals from Moro (penalty, 89′) and Thorstvedt (90′) sealed the victory. The final score was a comfortable 4-0 win for the home side.
