Montenegro Stuns Turkey in Thrilling Nations League Encounter
Nikšić hosted a captivating match between Montenegro and Turkey at the Stadion Kraj Bistrice, concluding the League B, Group 6 of the 2024 UEFA Nations League. Despite Turkey dominating possession (70% to 30%), Montenegro secured a remarkable victory thanks to a hat-trick by N. Krstovic.
The game was characterized by high intensity and numerous yellow cards. Montenegro saw Jankovic, Sipcic, Krstovic, Loncar, Nikic, and Tuci cautioned, while Turkey received yellow cards for Yokuslu, Akturkoglu, Demiral, Montella, and Yilmaz.
