Iran defeated Kyrgyzstan in a thrilling match played at the Stadion im. Dolena Omurzakova in Bishkek. The game, part of the 6th matchday of the 3rd round of Asian World Cup 2026 qualifiers, ended with a 3-2 victory for the Iranian team.

Taremi opened the scoring for Iran in the 12th minute, followed by a goal from Hardani in the 33rd. Kyrgyzstan pulled one back in the 51st minute through Kojo. Despite a yellow card for Shukurov in the 23rd minute, Kyrgyzstan fought until the end, earning a penalty converted by Kojo in the 64th minute. However, Azmoun secured the Iranian victory with a goal in the 76th minute. Ezatolahi (Iran) and Kenzhebaev (Kyrgyzstan) also received yellow cards in the second half.
