Japan Crushes Indonesia in World Cup Qualifier
Japan delivered a resounding 5-0 victory over Indonesia in their fifth Group match of the Asian World Cup 2026 qualifying third round, played at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on November 15th, 2024. The match, officiated by Mooud Bonyadifard from Iran, showcased Japan’s dominance throughout.
The first half already displayed the disparity between the two teams. An own goal by J. Hubner in the 35th minute opened the scoring for Japan, followed by a goal from T.
