United Arab Emirates Rout Kyrgyzstan in Abu Dhabi
The United Arab Emirates secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Kyrgyzstan in a World Cup 2026 Asian qualifying match, played at the Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on November 14th, 2024. Ahmed Abu Bakar Said Al Kaf from Oman officiated the game.
The UAE dominated possession (53%) and were more clinical in front of goal (6 shots on target out of 12). H. Suhail was the star, scoring two goals, one in the 15th minute and another in injury time (90′). M. Meloni added a second goal in the 35th minute, assisted by F. Lima, who also assisted Suhail’s late goal.
Kyrgyzstan managed 14 shots, but only 4 were on target. Despite the loss, they displayed a more aggressive approach, committing 21 fouls compared to the UAE’s 13. The match ended with a yellow card for M. Rashid of the UAE.
