Lommel United and Deinze draw in a tight match
Lommel hosted Deinze at the Soeverein Stadion for the 11th round of the Belgian Challenger Pro League. The match, which ended in a 1-1 draw, was marked by intensity and a constant fight for control of the game.
The first goal of the match came early, in the 3rd minute, when Diego Rosa opened the scoring for Lommel United after a good assist from M. Boukammiri. Despite the early lead, Deinze did not give up and pressed insistently in search of an equalizer.
The second half was a constant struggle. Deinze insistently sought the equalizing goal, which finally came in the 62nd minute. E. Daci converted a penalty, making it 1-1 final.
The game was characterized by a back-and-forth game, with Deinze dominating possession (51%) and Lommel showing greater effectiveness in shots on goal (3 out of 7 compared to 2 out of 18 for Deinze).
The final result left both teams with an important point in the fight for qualification in the Challenger Pro League.
