Beitar Jerusalem and Maccabi Tel Aviv played a thrilling game in Jerusalem
Maccabi Tel Aviv beat Beitar Jerusalem 2-3 in a thrilling match played at the Teddi Malcha Stadium in Jerusalem, as part of the 8th round of the Ligat Ha’al.
The match started at a frantic pace, with Maccabi Tel Aviv scoring the first goal in the 36th minute through D. Turgeman, who received a pass from O. Davida. Beitar Jerusalem did not let themselves be intimidated and managed to equalize in the 48th minute with a goal from T. Muzie, assisted by D. Micha.
However, Maccabi Tel Aviv regained the lead in the 82nd minute thanks to a penalty converted by Y. Shua. Beitar Jerusalem reacted immediately and scored two goals in the 86th and 87th minutes, the first from M. George and the second from Y. Shua, to put the score at 3-2 in their favor.
Maccabi Tel Aviv did not give up and, after a series of changes, managed to equalize the match in the 90th minute through a goal from E. Zahavi. Finally, the Tel Aviv team achieved victory in the 93rd minute with a goal from I. Shahar.
