Lausanne beats Grasshoppers in a thrilling match
Lausanne-Sport beat Grasshopper Club Zurich 3-0 in a thrilling match at the Stade de la Tuilière, where the home side dominated possession and turned their chances into goals.
The match started with an early goal from A. Sanches for Lausanne in the 2nd minute. The home team kept control of the game, but the visitors had several chances to equalize. In the 42nd minute, T. Meyer received a yellow card for a foul on a Lausanne player.
In the second half, Grasshopper Club Zurich started to press harder. However, Lausanne managed to extend their lead in the 80th minute with a goal from K. Mouanga. N. Dussenne scored a penalty in the 87th minute to seal Lausanne’s victory.
