Ross County edges Kilmarnock in a dramatic finish
Ross County claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Kilmarnock in a match that saw a red card for the visitors and an own goal in the closing stages.
Kilmarnock started the match looking to threaten the home side, but it was Ross County who took the lead in the 61st minute through a goal from J. White. However, their joy was short-lived as in the 82nd minute J. Wright scored an own goal to level the scores.
Kilmarnock’s task was made more difficult when L. Donnelly was sent off for a second yellow card in the 60th minute. The home side took advantage of their numerical superiority and eventually found the winning goal in the 82nd minute through J. Wright.
